Job Title: Lead Robot Vacuum Implementation Manager
Grade: A15
Location; National Field Base role
Contract Type: Fixed Term/Secondment – 6 months.
You will be required to travel across a large area and stay away overnight as needed to support the programme, up to 3 nights per week (Company Car Provided).

Join us in driving a groundbreaking transformation within Premier Inn’s Housekeeping Teams! The Housekeeping Programme is bringing robotic vacuums to our hotels, revolutionizing the daily experience for our dedicated housekeepers and elevating their work through advanced technology. As the Lead Robot Vacuum Implementation Manager, you’ll head the deployment of this innovation, working within the Central Operations and Projects and Portfolio teams to ensure our hotel teams thrive throughout this journey.
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead & manage a skilled field-based implementation team, leading training, and support for field-based Implementation Managers to deliver a seamless, enthusiastic transition to new ways of working. Your leadership will be vital in securing early adoption and capturing the full commercial benefits of this initiative.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a team of five field-based IMs, coordinating resources to execute our robot vacuum deployment plan.
- Planning and delivering face to face training sessions as required to keep the deployment programme on schedule.
- Driving change through engaging, commercially creative strategies that make a real impact.
- Embedding Whitbread’s culture and commitment to operational excellence within this specialized team
Minimum Skills/Experience Required:
Experience:
- Strong operational experience within Premier Inn
- Proven ability to create clear, accessible written materials for audiences at all levels.
- Guest and Customer focused.
- Need to have operated at Hotel Manager level as a minimum.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping ways of working
Skills:
- Able to influence and support at ROM level.
- Not afraid to challenge and make bold decisions.
- Ability to adapt and flex, plan, and prioritise.
- Dealing with changing needs and dynamic requirements
- Must hold a clean and valid driving licence and be able to drive
- Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word etc)
Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of Premier Inn
- Understanding of Project Delivery
- Expert in labour management
- Detailed knowledge of our brand standards and operational procedures
