The AP Manager role has responsibility for the delivery of all the invoice processing activity within their team, and all Supplier query resolution on the AP helpdesk. There will have line management responsibility for the AP administrators and AP assistants (UK based & Offshore team), ensuring that SLAs and KPI performance is delivered.
Location: Dunstable, hybrid- a minimum of 3 days per week in the office

What you’ll do:
- Manage the AP Processing team in an efficient manner to ensure compliance with relevant payable systems, policies and procedures.
- Ensure process governance including regular reporting and analysis to key stakeholders.
- Support the culture of continuous improvement, through initiatives associated with end-to-end R2P process.
- Act as point of escalation to resolve Accounts payable issues in a timely manner.
- Escalation point and provide back up support for advanced invoice processing.
- Analyse late Payment Data and invoice hold data.
- Completion and Review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
What we need:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Oracle-ERP.
- Ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, employees, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and applicable accounts payable/
general ledger systems and procedures. - Experience of operating AP processes in an SSC type environment.
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the Accounts Payable functions.
- Experience in a similar role preferably in BPM/services organisation.
