This role will lead all corporate finance related activities and evaluate the impact of financing decisions on the Group Business Plan. Working alongside 6 FP&A managers this role provides and support challenge, build strong networks with finance teams across the organisation and opportunity to work with a range of External stakeholders.
Location: Dunstable, hybrid- a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

What you’ll do:
- Managing relationship with Fitch (credit agency), evaluating, and providing feedback on WTB forecasts
- Evaluate and provide board recommendation on application of capital allocation framework to Group plan.
- Support IR team to deliver external communications which explain our financial plan
- Key role in providing corporate finance support, including: supporting on M&A, annual defence review, pension scheme related support, M&A financial support for M&A team, competitor financial reviews.
- Support on core FP&A activities such as budgeting, forecasting and 5-year plan
- Provide support to key planning dates (i.e budget papers, 5YP, Strategy day/AGP)
- Ad hoc reporting / request
What we need:
- Qualified accountant with minimum 3 yrs PQE experience
- Advanced Financial modelling/analytical Skills: ability to build/understand complex financial models using ambiguous data to support strategic decision making, while working under time pressure with senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder Management; ability and evidence of working autonomously and building credible relationships with senior business stakeholders. and.
- Understanding of the business and how to communicate complex issues simply while maintaining credibility.
