Join us at Whitbread as the Reward Manager for our UK Operations, where you'll leverage your extensive experience and strong desire to shape reward strategies that make a real difference.

Be a key player in building strong relationships with senior Operational and HR leaders across our Premier Inn hotels and Whitbread Restaurants, working collaboratively to shape and deliver a Reward agenda for more than 35,000 of our team.

 

You'll lead on critical reward projects, ensuring our frameworks are applied consistently and delivering our prestigious annual reward and recognition programme. Your influence will drive initiatives, from the annual pay review to the incentive process, supporting thousands of dedicated team members and managers.

 

Location: Whitbread Court, Dunstable, LU5 5XE. Hybrid working

What you’ll do

 

  • Partner with senior Operational and HR leaders to define and deliver the operations reward agenda and roadmap, ensuring stakeholder management is handled with precision and clarity.
  • Lead the design and delivery of the annual reward and recognition programme, working in detail with our Operations Directors and Regional Managers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee daily reward activities, including job evaluation and salary benchmarking, ensuring all processes align with established frameworks.
  • Manage key Reward projects across the UK, including the annual pay and incentive cycle for all operations teams.
  • Provide management and guidance to a small team (Advisor and Reward Partner), fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Focus on building innovative reward initiatives that support the delivery of our operational goals.

 

What we need

 

  • Extensive Reward Management experience in a professional, multi-site, and high-volume employee-based organisation.
  • A proven record of designing and implementing impactful reward initiatives at scale.
  • Strong business partnering skills with senior stakeholders, including HR and Operations leaders.
  • A thorough understanding of reward packages and how to drive business performance through effective reward strategies.
  • Experience in managing and developing a small team within a Reward function.
