Location National Field base Role (travelling to sites 3 days a week)

Job Overview:
As the UK Ops SME for F&B systems, you will be at the heart of shaping the future of our Symphony F&B Systems, acting as the vital link between Operations and IT. Your expertise will drive the definition of business requirements, ensuring innovative solutions align seamlessly with operational needs. From initial design to final implementation, you'll own the end-to-end process, including testing and a smooth 'go-live' transition. With your pragmatic mindset and persuasive communication skills, you’ll confidently challenge the status quo, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful and sustainable improvements.
Minimum Skills/Experience Required:
Experience:
- Guest and customer focussed.
- Proven operational experience (ie as a DHM, HM, GM) with F&B
- Communications and change experience to Operations
- Understanding of Whitbread brands and Support Centre
- Ability to prioritise and plan ahead
- Self-motivated, driven, able to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to be flexible and manage work under time scale pressures.
- Experience in working with F&B systems
Skills:
- Able to influence, negotiate and consult up to regional level.
- Articulate – ability to communicate in a compelling and clear way.
- Communication – ability to engage with people at all levels and ability to build effective working relationships with a broad range of people (up to Director/ROM level)
- Tenacious with attention to detail
- Good written skills with the ability to produce simple, and creative material to a publishable standard.
- Excellent verbal skills
- Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills (Office 365)
- Must have a full clean (up to date) driving licence
Knowledge:
- Project planning
- Hands on experience of site Operations and F&B
- Desire to learn new systems and processes in technology projects
